   Covering veil of Chinese bride is a piece of square-shaped red color silk. People think that it can drive away evil things and shows that the couple are eager for their life.

QiPao 

Chinese wedding dress shows good luck and happiness. Dragon , phoenix , red and golden colors represent  good luck and happiness. The main color of Chinese wedding dress & decoration settings is bright red. It is also a symbol of good fortune.

Chinese men also wear red groom toast clothing. However, they varied from century to century. They were in different coloures: black shenyi (a one-piece upper and lower garment) with red borders, or long green robe and a black mandarin jacket
